Trade Foundation

Terms of service

Last updated 25 October 2026

These are the terms you agree to when you create a Trade Foundation account. They are deliberately short. If something here does not work for your business, email office@tradefoundation.co.uk and we will talk about it.

Who these terms are between

They are between you, the business using the service, and Trade Foundation, a sole trader business operating from the United Kingdom. Contact us at office@tradefoundation.co.uk or +44 7365 578020.

By creating an account you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to do so.

What the service does

Trade Foundation replies to enquiries on your behalf, helps book work in and asks your customers for reviews once a job is finished. Exactly what is included depends on your plan, as set out on the pricing section of our homepage.

We build on the service continually. We may add, change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice by email.

Your account

  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep them up to date.
  • Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.

Payment

Starter is £39 a month and Pro is £69 a month. There is no setup fee and no exit fee.

Billing is not yet connected. Until it is, no payment details are held and nothing is charged. We will ask for payment details, and tell you clearly what will be taken and when, before any charge is ever made.

Cancelling

The subscription runs month to month. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard and it will not renew. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part months unless we have got something wrong.

Using it properly

You agree not to use Trade Foundation to:

  • send unsolicited marketing messages, or contact people who have asked not to be contacted
  • break the law, including UK data protection and marketing rules
  • impersonate another business
  • attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service

Messages go out in your business's name, so the people receiving them are your customers and your contacts. You are responsible for having a proper basis to contact them. We may suspend an account that is being used in breach of this section.

Your customers' data

Where the service handles information about your own customers, you are the data controller and we act as your processor. We process that information only to run the service for you. Our privacy policy sets out how. If you need a separate data processing agreement, email us and we will provide one.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not responsible for failures in networks or third-party services outside our control.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Otherwise, and because this is a business-to-business service, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost goodwill or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken, if payment fails and is not put right, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we will give you reasonable notice and refund anything paid for a period you will not receive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email you at least 30 days beforehand. Carrying on using the service after a change takes effect means you accept it. If you would rather not, you can cancel.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
